Sukabumi – The Branch Leadership Council (DPC) and Sub-Branch Leadership Councils (PAC) of PDI Perjuangan across Sukabumi Regency held a consolidation meeting on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The event aimed to reinforce party cadre solidarity and loyalty in facing the national political dynamics.
The meeting, held in Sukabumi, was attended by DPC and PAC leaders and featured the presence of senior PDI Perjuangan figure Ribka Tjiptaning and national politician Ono Surono.
In her address, Ribka Tjiptaning emphasized the importance of unity and discipline among cadres in following the party’s line of struggle under the leadership of Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Amid the ever-changing national dynamics, PDI Perjuangan cadres must remain steadfast and loyal to the party’s direction and the leadership of Ibu Megawati Soekarnoputri," Ribka asserted firmly.
Meanwhile, Ono Surono highlighted the worsening socio-economic conditions and called on cadres to intensify grassroots struggles.
"The people are not doing well. Layoffs are happening in many places. In such situations, organizational solidarity becomes our main strength. Through hard work and ideological loyalty, PDI Perjuangan will continue to be at the forefront in defending the people’s interests," said Ono.
In addition to ideological reinforcement, the meeting also discussed strategies for the party’s success in the upcoming political contests, focusing on structural consolidation and strengthening people-centered programs based on local needs.
The series of events concluded with a statement of commitment from all DPC and PAC leaders of PDI Perjuangan Sukabumi to continue strengthening the party organization under the command of Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Alhamdulillah, this meeting was also attended by representatives from the DPP and DPD and witnessed declarations from each branch. God willing, PDI Perjuangan Sukabumi will become stronger and ready to win in the political contests from 2025 to 2030," said one of the party leaders.
