Sukabumi Regency – The Tangkil Village Government, located in Cidahu Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, has begun utilizing the 2025 Village Fund (Dana Desa) to support the development of basic infrastructure in the area. One of the key activities being carried out is the paving of neighborhood roads at two points in Cidahu Wetan Village, specifically in RT 006 and RT 007.
The hotmix asphalt paving project covers a total area of 1,500 square meters, with a total budget of Rp180,104,000, entirely sourced from the Village Fund. This initiative is part of the Village Community Empowerment and Development Program (P3MD), which aims to strengthen inter-regional connectivity and support residents’ mobility in rural areas.
Tangkil Village Head, Ijang Sehabudin, S.AP, stated that this road construction is a concrete example of how the Village Fund is being used to meet the real needs of the community.
> "We, the Tangkil Village Government, are currently realizing the 2025 Village Fund budget through road construction in two locations—RT 06 and RT 07 in Cidahu Wetan. We hope this will improve comfort and accessibility for residents," said Ijang when met on Thursday (May 15, 2025).
The project is being implemented by the Tangkil Village Activity Implementation Team (TPK), with completion targeted according to the established schedule.
Furthermore, Ijang emphasized the village government's commitment to managing the Village Fund in a transparent, participatory, and accountable manner, always prioritizing community needs.
The initiative has received a positive response from local residents. People from RT 006 and RT 007 expressed their appreciation for the improved quality of the roads, which are now safer and more comfortable to use, especially during the rainy season.
> "The road used to be muddy and slippery when it rained. Now, thank God, it's been paved and much easier to pass through," said Entis, also known as Empu (42), a resident of RT 006.
This road infrastructure development is expected to boost the local economy and facilitate daily activities for residents, including school children and small business owners in the village.
