Sukabumi – The office of the DPC (Regional Leadership Council) of the Gerindra Party in Sukabumi City, located on Bhayangkara Street, was lively and vibrant with party uniforms, banners, and flags. The occasion was the 17th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party, celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The event featured a joint prayer session, donations for orphans, free medical check-ups, and aid distribution to nursing homes, particularly around Sukabumi City.

Drs. Lutfi Achmad, Chairman of the Gerindra Party DPC in Sukabumi City, emphasized the special significance of this year’s anniversary. “This year is particularly special because, on Gerindra’s 17th anniversary, our Chairman, Prabowo Subianto, has been entrusted with a mandate from the people. It has been a long political journey for the Gerindra Party, and thankfully, during the 2024 Presidential Election, Mr. Prabowo Subianto was elected as the President of the Republic of Indonesia,” Lutfi stated.

“I invite the people to support President Prabowo Subianto’s government programs and hope that the Gerindra Party will continue to thrive, fighting endlessly for a sovereign, prosperous, and wealthy nation,” he concluded.

In a separate press release, Melan Maulana, S.A.P., M.Si., Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party DPC in Sukabumi City, expressed that despite its simplicity, the event remained solemn and meaningful. The celebration began with a tribute at the Heroes' Cemetery and visits to the graves of party veterans to honor their contributions in building the party and the nation. Other positive activities were also held, as mentioned by the DPC Chairman. “We hope that Gerindra will continue to be the party of the ‘Wong Cilik’ (common people), defending truth and benefiting all citizens without discrimination,” Melan stated.

At the end of the event, Melan Maulana asked for prayers from all Sukabumi residents for continued health, a stronger and more united Gerindra Party in Sukabumi, and for its contributions to the progress and welfare of Sukabumi City and Indonesia as a whole.
