Sukabumi – Deputy Regent of Sukabumi, H. Andreas, conducted a monitoring visit to Palabuhanratu Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Tuesday (April 8, 2025). The visit aimed to review the condition of the new Emergency Room (ER) building under construction and inspect the hospital wall that was damaged due to recent flooding.
In his statement, the Deputy Regent said that the construction of the new ER building would be completed soon so it can begin serving patients as quickly as possible.
"God willing, we hope the construction can be finished promptly so it can accommodate patients being treated at Palabuhanratu Hospital," said Deputy Regent Andreas.
Regarding the damaged wall caused by the high water volume during the flood, the Sukabumi Regency Government is committed to carrying out repairs immediately. This is crucial to ensure that medical services remain uninterrupted.
"It will be repaired soon, especially while the weather is good. Since this concerns public services, it’s a top priority—especially as it involves hospital facilities," he emphasized.
During the visit, the Deputy Regent also took time to greet patients, listen to their concerns, and offer encouragement for their recovery.
