Sukabumi Regency – The Parakansalak District Government held a Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) for the 2026 Fiscal Year on Thursday (February 13, 2025) at the Parakansalak Sports Hall (GOR). The event was attended by members of the Sukabumi Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), including Hendra Purnama, S.Si., from the PKS Party faction, and Saepuloh, S.E., from the Democratic Party faction. Also present were the Parakansalak Subdistrict Head, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (SOPD), elements of the Forkompimcam (District Leadership Coordination Forum), and village heads from across Parakansalak District. A total of 50 participants from various sectors took part in the discussion.

The subdistrict-level Musrenbang serves as a forum for deliberation among stakeholders to discuss and agree on priority programs. These programs originate from the List of Proposed Village/Kelurahan Development Activities, which are then integrated into the regional development priorities of Sukabumi Regency.

Saepuloh, S.E., Emphasizes the Importance of Musrenbang

In his speech, Saepuloh, S.E., a member of Commission II of the Sukabumi Regency DPRD from the Democratic Party faction—commonly known as Badot—highlighted that the discussions at the district-level Musrenbang would contribute to the drafting of the Final RKPD (Regional Development Work Plan). This document is essential for setting development policies and priorities while ensuring that district proposals align with the roles and functions of each government agency.

"Today, we have conducted the district-level Musrenbang for Parakansalak. We have agreed to prioritize the tourism sector, particularly because Parakansalak has remarkable tourist destinations, such as 'Saung Gunung,' located at the foot of Mount Salak," Saepuloh stated.

In addition to tourism, he also stressed the importance of infrastructure development, particularly road improvements. "As the Chairman of the Democratic Party Faction and a member of DPRD Commission II, which oversees development and infrastructure, I will continue to push for road improvements in this region to ensure better accessibility," he added.

Saepuloh revealed that there were approximately 30 priority proposals from six villages in the Musrenbang for 2026. He expressed hope that these proposals would be realized to improve community welfare.

"For the village governments, I urge them to carefully consider the notes provided by the relevant agencies, especially regarding infrastructure and the equipment distributed to the community. Specifically for infrastructure, land availability must be supported by proper ownership documentation," he emphasized.

He also underscored the importance of village heads attending the Musrenbang in person to ensure that community aspirations are properly conveyed. "This process must not be delegated, as it concerns the future of regional development. I hope that in the future, all village heads can attend personally without sending representatives," he concluded.
